The Asda Partnership

We’ve all been busy sharing our stories to social media but did you know there’s another way to help premature babes in need and it all starts with where you shop?

#PampersForPreemies From now until January 7th, for every pack of Pampers nappies purchased at Asda, Pampers will donate a preemie nappy to a baby in need.

Pampers Preemie Protection nappies are specially designed for the tiniest babies and for every Pampers nappies pack you purchase as Asda (whatever size you buy for your little one), you’ll be helping these tiny babies to get the very best start in life.

So, with that news in mind, take our quick poll

Our favourite Preemie posts so far…

We’re well into our very special #PampersForPreemies project and the social media posts are coming thick and fast, which means lots of donations to Bliss, the UK’s leading prematurity charity.

Pamper for preemies

The Pampers team have loved seeing all of your social posts so far. Take a look at a couple of our faves:

Squauddies Ballio89 is a Super Mum who shared the story of her brave and strong son who arrived much earlier than expected.

Squaddies Halmulla shared an adorable heart hand photo with #PampersForPreemies that, like all similar posts, generated a £1 donation to Bliss.

Have you shared your story yet? Keep posting your hand-heart pics and for every post that includes the #PampersForPreemies hashtag, £1 will be donated to Bliss. You’ll also have the chance to win a £40 Asda Gift Card when you send in you online post with #PampersForPreemies and #PampersSquad:

And while we’re here, what are your plans tonight? Keep an eye out for the new Pampers commercial (in the ad break of Gogglebox) featuring cyclist Sir Chris Hoy and his wife Sarra. Their son Callum was born at 29 weeks so they know all too well about life with a preemie babe. Let your pals know to keep an eye out too.

What makes Pampers Preemie Protection nappy special?

As a parent, we all know how important sleep is for our little ones but for premature babies it’s crucial. To grow and develop, preemie babies should be spending a whopping 97% of the time sleeping. Not easy when you factor in regular nappy changes using nappies that aren’t designed for tiny babies.

Pampers Preemies

That’s why Pampers have created Pampers Preemie Protection nappies to fit even the littlest babies. The P3 size is three times smaller than a regular newborn nappy and is suitable for babies weighing less than 1.8lb.

Take a look at your phone now…that’s approximately the width of these tiny nappies designed to fit the smallest tummies.

For extra comfort, they also feature:

  • All over fastening for a customisable fit to minimise disruption
  • Gentle flex cuffs for delicate little legs
  • Absorb-away liner to draw away mess to help keep your baby dry for longer whilst sleeping

Help preemie babies

For every social share that uses the hand-heart image and the #PampersforPreemies hashtag, £1 will be donated to Bliss, the UK’s leading premature charity, to help support tiny babies and their parents at the time they need it most.

Have you shared yet? Don’t forget the hashtag #PampersForPreemies and #PampersSquad and send us you post for the chance to win a £40 Asda Gift Card.

Let’s support Pampers on World Prematurity Day

Ahead of World Prematurity Day this Sunday (17th November), us Squaddies are supporting the #PampersForPreemies campaign.

As part of their commitment to the happy and healthy development of every single baby, Pampers have partnered with Bliss, the UK’s leading prematurity charity. Together, they want to provide support to babies who are born too soon and we’ve made it our mission to help!

Pampers Preemie Protection

For every special social post that we share over the course of this project, Pampers will donate £1 to Bliss so these tiny little ones have the best possible start in life.

How to get involved:

  1. Show your heart pics
Make the shape of a heart using your hands and snap a pic (see example on Project info page). It could be you or your little one but we want you to show your heart and share to social media with #PampersForPreemies & #PamperSquad. Let’s let the love flow all over social media with you pic and a short message like “I support #PampersForPreemies”.

  2. Share your story
1 in 13 babies are born prematurely. That means many Squaddies will have personal experience of life with a premature baby. If your little one has an extra special birth story, we want you to share your story and maybe even a pic

  3. Let us know
Share your online post with us via the online report tool and be in with the chance to win a £40 Asda Gift Card.
