Making babies' world better - Our most important mission yet!🌍

In a world full of uncertainty and challenges, one thing we want to be certain of as parents is that we're doing the best that we can to make our babies' world better. The team at Pampers is all about ensuring that all parents get the support they deserve and that is why they’re on a very important mission to support local communities by always being there for all babies and their families!

Making babies' world better

For parents, having quick and easy access to the products and services needed for their little ones wherever and whenever they need them is paramount! However, over two-thirds of parents last year didn’t have access to these products they needed because they weren’t readily available near them.

So how does Pampers help local communities?👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

  1. By being made locally 🥰

Pampers believes in providing families the same trusted support Pampers nappies provide their babies. Did you know that a whopping 93% of Pampers nappies sold in the UK are made in Pampers' Manchester factory? This is why you will always find your trusted Pampers nappies on-shelf, no matter where you are! And because Pampers owns and controls every single step of the production process, they're able to bring you high-quality nappies that are checked by +500 sensors before making it onto your bubba's bottom. 🤩

  2. By donating 500,000 nappies to charity 🤗

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and that's why Pampers leaves no parent on their own! Pampers believes in the power of coming together as a community and supporting each other. Be it sharing nappy advice or poonami conversations, coming together can help make a massive change in babies' lives! So to help build a better world for babies of today and tomorrow, Pampers is donating over half a million nappies to charitable initiatives that support families in your local communities all across the UK! 👩🏿‍🤝‍👩🏻

Very proud of my local community, they kept the local food bank well stocked by either donation food/toiletries and money to help those needing assistance at this terrible time.

The way people have rallied around helping with people who had to shield collecting shopping, prescriptions and during the panic buying when people struggled to get baby essentials such as milk and nappies people donated those things to the people really in need

My local community really came together. Helping those who couldn’t get out, providing them with survival packs of essentials. It’s times like this were we can all pull together and help each other.

My local community of volunteers run it’s own PO9 food bank, free bank, pet bank that over the pandemic has not only supported our local community in PO9 but has also opened its self up to surrounding communities to help support those in desperate need during this time. Our local community also run a munch bank to feed the community hot meals. They even go as far as a PO9 big wrap at Christmas for the families to provide gift for those struggling.
It would be absolutely amazing if we could get a donation for the local area to support families in great need. Many thanks.

To be honest, the video made me cry (I know, it might be the hormones 🙈). Helping the community and the parents in need it's amazing. This kind of gestures makes me very emotional.
Also, I am curious as well as how the nappies are made.

I love how my local community pulled together to do shopping for those shielding, the "baby bank" (also known as baby basics) a free service for parents who were struggling were still operating and doing a collection service and that the food bank started doing deliveries to those who used them!

I think everyone is different, not everyone wants to get involved within a community which is fine.
But I like to feel part of our community, it brings me a sense of security. Knowing my neighbours look out for us & vice versa. It is slightly different where we live currently as a lot rented houses (our is rented) and some people literally don't say hi, bye or anything. But a few weeks ago we had an incident on the main road where a car crashed whilst doing speed & we went to all our neighbours (including the ones who have no interest in talking to us) & told them what had happened and to tell them to check their vehicles. Several were written off sadly including my Husbands van, but oddly since then we now all talk. Say hi in the mornings, they ask about my children. It's lovely.

If there is anything positive that has come out of the pandemic is sense of community and the willingness of people of go extra miles to help those in need. I was pregnant with my baby when the pandemic first started and was offered services like grocery shopping, picking of prescription etc by local volunteers.

It's wonderful to see everyday people pulling together during these difficult times, ive seen people collecting essentials for elderly neighbours and when they were self isolating, a friendly chat through the window kept everybody going.

We also have a local food bank (try to donate where I can) but it is always well stocked for families who maybe struggling.

Nice to see the community stepping up and supporting each other - regardless of race, religion etc. Lovely gesture by Pampers - much appreciated. Thank you :)

JEAshdown Verified 04/06/2021 - 14:24

My community is lovely! If someone needs something they've only got to ask and there us always lots of people willing to help them! Our community is raising money to help upgrade the local park!

Blondie4 Verified 04/06/2021 - 14:36

Totally overwhelmed by the support and positivity of the community in the past year. It has just been amazing.

Kwno1 Verified 04/06/2021 - 14:53

My local community have a place for struggling families to take away free hot meals. It's so nice to see everyone care for eachother .

JodieCrew Verified 04/06/2021 - 14:57

My local community has kept reciprocity at the forefront throughout the pandemic. The act of doing something for someone without wanting back in return is so rife and particular with new mums, the elderly and the vulnerable. Local messaging groups were created for support and to ask for help with things like shopping and collecting parcels. My neighbours are fantastic and I know I could count on them if needed. A few packs of baby wipes have been shared amongst our street that’s for sure!
