Making babies' world better - Our most important mission yet!🌍

In a world full of uncertainty and challenges, one thing we want to be certain of as parents is that we're doing the best that we can to make our babies' world better. The team at Pampers is all about ensuring that all parents get the support they deserve and that is why they’re on a very important mission to support local communities by always being there for all babies and their families!

Making babies' world better

For parents, having quick and easy access to the products and services needed for their little ones wherever and whenever they need them is paramount! However, over two-thirds of parents last year didn’t have access to these products they needed because they weren’t readily available near them.

So how does Pampers help local communities?👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

  1. By being made locally 🥰

Pampers believes in providing families the same trusted support Pampers nappies provide their babies. Did you know that a whopping 93% of Pampers nappies sold in the UK are made in Pampers' Manchester factory? This is why you will always find your trusted Pampers nappies on-shelf, no matter where you are! And because Pampers owns and controls every single step of the production process, they're able to bring you high-quality nappies that are checked by +500 sensors before making it onto your bubba's bottom. 🤩

  2. By donating 500,000 nappies to charity 🤗

They say it takes a village to raise a child, and that's why Pampers leaves no parent on their own! Pampers believes in the power of coming together as a community and supporting each other. Be it sharing nappy advice or poonami conversations, coming together can help make a massive change in babies' lives! So to help build a better world for babies of today and tomorrow, Pampers is donating over half a million nappies to charitable initiatives that support families in your local communities all across the UK! 👩🏿‍🤝‍👩🏻

Since the pandemic started alot more people in my local area have spoken to me Most people wouldn't bother in a normal situation. I think it's great that Pampers are donating qnd helping those in need!

Amazing community spirit! Helping each other, the church opening for food parcels and drop off. Covid support too.

Our local community pulled together amazing during the pandemic. Our little village post office had a donation area where shoppers were encouraged to buy an additional item to pop in the donation basket. Then the local rugby club would collect these items and everyday they would open for an hour a day where anyone (regardless of status) could collect any items they needed from food to arts and craft packs for the kids. We also had a local computer repair company that donated laptops to the village children to help with home schooling. They also collected any broken or old laptops from the local residents and then repaired these and gave these to the children. I think the thing to me that really made a huge impact to me personally was when my little one was born by cesarean, elderly, vulnerable neighbours offered to help us and do our shopping etc. I'm so lucky to live in such a lovely community :)

I love what Pampers is doing for communities but the phrase ‘as a parent’ is offensive, gate keeping and goes against the message. There are plenty more people involved in raising and caring for a child that a video about community shouldn’t exclude these aunts and uncles, friends, grandparents, siblings, step-parents etc. It takes a village as they say and it doesn’t take ‘a parent’ to know it’s annoying to run out of nappies. Don’t exclude the non-parents!

I absolutely love Pampers! Supporting all of those families by donating is just incredible! Supporting local communities is key to making sure we look after eachother and if I have learned anything through the pandemic it's that we are all fully capable of looking after one another!

@all Hey Guys,
Well last year at Christmas time, a well known fella of our town opened up his shop until late Christmas Eve. The whole town made donations from food, clothes, toys and other essentials to give to families who were in need. It was a massive turn out! Never seen such a caring, generous local community come together like that, Just so that families without could atleast have a Christmas dinner and children had a present to open on Christmas Day!

It's nice to see a large company donating to baby banks. Something which helps families who really need it. I hope more companies do it too!

During the pandemic our local community has really pulled together, food banks, discounted shops for struggling families, walking groups when permitted, a care for the vunerable scheme. we ourselves struggled and got help as our daughter was newborn, money was tight and i was in the shielded category... just amazing

I've loved being part of a community that has come together in difficult times to unite and help each other out! I've seen mums offering other mums tips on juggling babies, work and housework, the elderly being helped out by the young and the local station staff were even giving out chocolates the other day to make people smile! Little gestures can mean a lot!

MJones81 Verified 04/06/2021 - 17:55

I've been using a local food bank through the pandemic and its been a life saver. Having people donate baby items as well as food has helped me loads and has been appreciated.

It’s great that a huge company like pampers are supporting the smaller communities.
Other companies should take a leaf out of your book!
