On Thursday 29th November, we had a special VIP launch of Paloma Faith and the Midwives Choir’s Christmas single, Silent Night.
There was tasty food, delicious drinks, incredible live music and a Pampers Squaddie! That’s right, after a brilliant year with the Pampers Squad, we selected Squaddie steffee to come along to our festive event to represent the Pampers Squad at the launch.
We have it on very good authority that Squaddie steffee had a brilliant night out dancing and schmoozing! She was very happy to share her #ThankYouMidwife story, take a look at what she had to say:
"I felt the event was well put together and a special moment for me (other than her singing) was Paloma Faith sharing her birth story - it was one I could relate to so much.
#Thank you Midwife is so important to me because without my Midwive’s my birth experience would have felt way too clinical. They had a way of making it feel more homey even though I wasn’t able to be in the birth centre anymore. They kept my spirits up and they made me laugh when honestly no one else could. My last midwife of my 3 day labour (Blessing) she acted quickly when the worst happened and my baby went into distress! She also followed up by making sure the doctors kept to time. No one was messing with her. She was our Guardian angel ❤️ "
Once you’ve shared your personal #ThankYouMidwife story, why not remind your fellow parent pals to get on Instagram or Facebook and share their #ThankYouMidwife story about how special their midwife was and why.
Remember, for every 1,000 shares, Pampers will make over a staffroom on a maternity ward, so these hard-working women and men have somewhere comfy to relax during those long, un-silent nights!
@all: What do you think of Squaddie steffee's story?

Did you see our new Christmas ad featuring the gorgeous vocals of Paloma Faith and the Midwives Choir last night? If you missed it, you can watch it here:
It’s a beautiful, festive reminder of the work that midwives do all year round to bring little ones into the world.
For midwives, Christmas is like any other day and with 54,000 births due to take place in December in the UK, our nation’s midwives are likely to be working tirelessly throughout the festive season to make sure little bundles are delivered safely.
That’s why, at Pampers, we want to give something back. For every download of the single, we’ll donate £1 to the Midwives Benevolence Fund which helps to support midwives in times of need.
Have you shared your story yet?
Include the #ThankYouMidwife, #PampersSquad and tag the Pampers Team with @Pampersuk_ire. For every 1,000 shares, we’ll make over a staffroom for these hardworking women and men.

Did you know that 4am is the most common time for a baby to be born? That means that while most of us are cosily tucked up in bed, our nation’s midwives are working hard to deliver new babies safely.
Anyone working this hard at Christmas deserves an extra special thank you, especially when 1 in 3 midwives in the UK feels undervalued and underappreciated.
That’s why this Christmas, we’re continuing to rally the nation to say thank you by shining a light on the amazing work Midwives do at Christmas, and all year round.
But this Christmas, we’re going even bigger and better.
We’re working with mum and midwife-supporter Paloma Faith on a new Christmas charity single – the song launches this Sunday (in the break of X-Factor – have your tissues handy!). Then, for every download of Pampers’ charity single, £1 will go towards helping Midwives in need, and for every 1,000 #ThankYouMidwife stories shared online Pampers will makeover a UK maternity ward staffroom).
We would absolutely love for you to be a part of this.
