Hello and welcome to the team! đź‘‹

We’re absolutely delighted to have you join this special taboo-busting Ninjamas project team. Over the next few weeks, we’ll undertake the highly important mission of starting a vital and much-needed conversation around night-time bedwetting to support other parents and children who are on the same journey as us.

It may feel a little difficult to start this conversation, but we promise you that this is a safe space full of people who are in the same position as you are. Feel free to use this blog as a sort of forum where you can share your experiences and hear from other parents with the same concerns as you. Plus, we are here to support you and listen to everything our project team has to say.

Are you ready to break the bedwetting taboo together? Then, let’s go!

The bedwetting myth…

Bedwetting can be tough to deal with. Have you ever shied away from discussing your experiences with other parents? We’re here to tell you, you are NOT alone!

Let's talk bedwetting

How many parents have brought up the subject of bedwetting with you?

0-1

191 participants, 40%

2-5

209 participants, 44%

5+

74 participants, 16%

If you answered “0” then it’s possible (likely even) that you do know parents with children who wet the bed, but they haven’t felt like they can share because they feel that there’s a taboo around the topic.

Bedwetting is a challenge that affects around half a million children and teenagers in the UK but very few parents are talking about it. A whopping 4 out of 5 parents believe there is a taboo surrounding bedwetting and 85% of parents with children who experience bedwetting wish other parents would speak more openly about it.

Your role in this project

In this project we want to break the bedwetting taboo, spread the word and raise awareness about bedwetting. We’ll let other parents know that they are not alone and that Ninjamas is there to support and empower them and their children.

Your taboo-busting tasks

  1. We’ll test 👍

First things first, let’s put Ninjamas Pyjama Pants to the test and experience the powerful protection and super-soft discretion they offer to children.

  2. We’ll spread the word and gift free Ninjamas 💌

Share your newfound knowledge to support other parents and help to bust the myths around bedwetting. Let’s show parents how Ninjamas Pyjama Pants will enable them and their children to tackle bedwetting with ease, comfort and discretion.* Then, we’ll share out product leaflets and a coupon portal link so they can try Ninjamas for FREE.

  3. We’ll review ✍

After gaining first-hand experience of the benefits, we’ll leave reviews on Ninjamas Pyjama Pants to help other parents looking to support and protect their children.

  4. ...and, if we’re comfortable doing so, we’ll share to socials 📲

If you want to join the conversation online too, you can take part and bust some bedwetting myths by sharing important info with your friends and followers. Don’t forget to use #NighttimeConfidence #Ninjamas to get involved and please consider your child and their feelings when posting.

Let’s get started right away – get involved in the conversation in the comment section below. We can’t wait to hear from you.

@all: What are you most excited about in this project?

*If you’re concerned about your child’s bedwetting or bedwetting has started suddenly after 6 months or more of dry nights then consider visiting your health practitioner.

My daughter absolutely loves her new big girl pants. No leaks so far and seem really comfy

Well not been able to take many photos as my sons got chicken pox but interesting to notice his previous nappy and a cloth nappy he said we’re too uncomfortable but he was happy to wear these all night. He’s been very sore in the nappy area at the moment unfortunately making me worried it may impact our product testing

Shared the leaflets with some brownie parents going will open up some discussions for our pack holiday and hopefully ease some concerns some have over going away when bed wetting.

We received our pack of Ninjamas and first impressions were a great grown up pattern for children who have left the baby stage and feeling like big girls.
My daughter was complaining every morning about being irritated by the elastic around the leg parts of another branded pull ups and also sometimes we would get leaks if she had wee’d excessively. Since using these Ninjamas that irritation is no more, they are super comfy and we get no more complaints on a morning and no more leaks. These are great!

Why do some of the pants have an X on them, assume to identify front of pants? but then some don't. They are a good product, only thing I think is that they could be a bit bigger around the bum area, I buy the biggest size you do for my 6 year old but they do seem small around the bum. Can you look into selling some sticky type pads for the beds so incase of any leakage, removing the pad from the bed and not having to wash entire bedding.

So we are 3 nights into trying ninjamas unfortunately she has leaked in them, we have now established the need to go feeling and slowly getting there, we are trying less drinking tonight, she loves the colours of them, she puts them on easily herself, plenty of movement when wearing them so no restrictions, she knows which way they go with the patterns on them.

We have been trying these for a week now and as usual, we have some dry nights and some wet, our 5 year old son does really want to keep these dry but sometimes goes in his sleep. So far so good no leakages, which is surprising as he is way below the weight guidelines. I would suggest 3 sizes/ages in these, starting at a lower weight of say 12kg. this would involve those older children who are below average size and could then include those older children above average size. I thought the colours would be a bit brighter, cooler looking but he seems to like them as they are pants rather than called nappies. I think we would purchase ourselves if not too costly compared to supermarket pull ups as they seem comfy despite being rather large on him

My daughther is very happy. The pants are comfy, watertight and look like a normal underwear.

We have used our free two packs, they have been brilliant. Absolutely no leaks at all and she has found them very comfortable. I have a voucher for another free pack so will definitely be claiming them and will keep my eyes out for offers. Thank you so much for this opportunity.

Well we’re 2 weeks into trying the ninja pants and we have to say both me and my partner love them they’ve been great no more washing sheets constantly from leaks of other brands we have tried.
They are super soft and my little one says they are comfy leaving no marks on bum or legs from irritation. Very flexible waist band.
We’ve just been and stocked up on a few packs as they are currently half price a pack in the baby event at Asda!

Really gutted as I’m unable to participate with the final survey as the Ninjamas never arrived! Really disappointed as was looking forward to sharing with parents of children with special needs and helping them with night time toileting issues - real shame Pampers and really disappointed.
