Pampers have donated hundreds of thousands of nappies to hospitals and charities and we Squaddies also supported by spreading the word and helping even more preemie babies.

A very special preemie project

Let’s help Pampers to make sure every premature baby in the UK has access to Pampers Preemie Protection nappies.

60,000 babies are born prematurely every year in the UK. That’s roughly 1 in every 13 babies who needs extra special love, care and attention.

With their son Callum being born at only 29 weeks, cyclist Sir Chris Hoy and his wife Lady Sarra Hoy know all too well about life with a preemie babe and are helping Pampers to spread the word.

Pampers Preemies

We’ve created a special Squad project to help the babies who need it most

In order to grow and develop, premature babies should spend 97% of their time asleep – not easy at the best of times but especially when you consider most preemies have to make do with nappies that are far too big.

That’s where Pampers Preemie Protection nappies come in, up to three times smaller than average newborn nappies and with all over fastening for a customisable fit, they protect fragile premature little ones and give them the uninterrupted sleep that they need.

Pampers have already donated hundreds of thousands of nappies to hospitals and charities but now it’s time for us to show our support by spreading the word and helping even more preemie babies.

Here’s how to get involved:

  1. Log on to your personal Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
  2. “Show you heart”: Share posts to social media making the shape of a heart with your hands to show that your support the many families with premature babies.
  3. Share your story: Many of us will have direct experience of those early days of living with a premature baby. We want you to share your experiences to social media. Simply say a few lines about your experience with a newborn and share your “hand heart” picture.
  4. For every “hand heart” image that uses the #PampersForPreemies hashtag, £1 will be donated to Bliss to support preemies in need.

In addition to this, for every pack of Pampers purchased at Asda between 7th November and 7th January, Pampers will donate a Pampers Preemie Protection nappy to a tiny baby in need.

Here on the Squad, we will be giving out a £40 Asda Gift Card to one lucky winner who send in their online post with #PamperForPreemies and #PampersSquad
